Each lake is different in depth and shape providing changing construction for fish habitat. There are holes up to 60 feet in depth and many shoals, feeder streams, bays, and structures to test your angling skills. Of course, success is always dependant on the weather patterns. This waterway does provide access and shelter on all but the stormiest days. The fishery consists of Large and small mouth bass, pickerel, (walleye) and pan fish.
There are rowboats-canoes on inland lakes that are accessible by foot or ATV. (electric motors, and ATV transportation can be arranged for these lakes)
The walleye and pike season begins on the 3rd Saturday in May and closes late fall (pan fish are in season during this time). Bait, tackle, fuel, licenses, are available as well as boat/motor and canoe rentals as required. Groceries and other needs are within a 25 min. drive from the lodge. |
